Ruairí and the team designed and installed a superb and reliable system at my home that guarantees zero loss of power during ESB outages. For me, a wind turbine was recommended rather than Solar. The system allows me to power my house from a UPS system and use Grid power at super low rates. During power outages, my UPS kicks in allowing me up to 5 days power. During normal usage any surplus power generated by my system is sold back to the Grid. My ESB bill has been reduced to almost zero and i estimate the installation cost will be repaid in 5 to 6 years. The life of the system is about 25 years.
